Another day and another bunch of Democrats got brutally exposed as the hypocrites that they really are.
They pulled a cheap political stunt today with the whole nation watching and they got exposed. And it was wonderful to watch.
As reported by Breitbart: Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) admitted Tuesday in the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court that he and other Democrats participated in a conference call on how to disrupt the hearings.
Durbin was responding to a question by Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC), who cited an NBC News tweet from earlier in the morning that reported that Senate Democrats had planned over the Labor Day weekend to use protests and interruptions.
Enter Lindsey Graham. As reported by The Daily Wire:
South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham thew down on his Democratic counterparts on Tuesday during Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court confirmation hearing, telling them that if they want to pick judges then they better win elections.
“And I’m here to tell anybody in the country that listens that this is so hypocritical of my friends on the other side,” Graham said. “When it was their president, Kavanaugh was right. When you’re talking about Roe v. Wade, it’s okay to promise the nation it will never be overturned.”
“It’s okay to pick a Democratic staff member of this committee but it’s not okay to pick somebody who’s been a lifelong Republican. People see through this,” Graham continued. “You had a chance and you lost. If you want to pick judges your way of thinking, then you better win an election.”
“I voted for two of your choices Sotomayor and Kagan. Got a lot of crap,” Graham concluded “I would suggest you think long and hard if you have a political ambition of voting to are this guy because he’ll not play well on your side. And why did I do it? I thought they were qualified by any reasonable measure given the history of the Senate. But we turned the history of the Senate upside down.”
"You had a chance, and you lost," Lindsey Graham tells Democrats, advising them to "win an election" if they want to pick judges.
